So this is going to my only comments on the recent law that was voted on in North Carolina.  At first I didn’t really want to get involved with any discussions about it because of “shit storm” that any discussion about it becoming because of how passionate the people on both sides of the issue.  I had started off the day just hiding ever comment, article, or picture about it on Facebook.  That is until I saw the one below which kind of “spoke” to me and said basically how I feel about the whole thing so I felt the need to write this rant.

I think Clint said it best “I don’t give a fuck about who wants to get married to anybody else”.  I wouldn’t say that I am a Gay Rights supporter or anything but at the sometime I don’t see how it is really anyone else’s business what anyone else wants to do with the free time or home life.  The most I thought about it seem that this goes back to the same sort of thing I was taking about in my earlier post “What the Hell is Wrong with People Today?”.  People are just way too worried about what everyone else is going and really think they have a right to tell people that their beliefs are wrong.  It is way past time that people need to just shut up and worry about their own shit.

Also this whole argument about the “sanctity” of marriage is really getting old and tired.  It is just time to give it up.

There seems to be a growing trend the last few years where seem to forget the first and quite possibly most important amendment  in the Bill of Rights.  That of course is the Freedom of Speech.  The latest attack is coming from a group calling for a boycott of the new movie 21 Jump Street because of a line where the character played by Ice Cube says, ”This chart looks like shit, are you autistic?”  When did people forget how to take a joke?  Just because you find something offensive doesn’t mean you have the right to tell others that their opinions or the way they think is wrong.

Another similar attack came in the national campaign to get people to stop using the “R-word”.  When I first heard about this movement all I could think to myself is that is retarded.  Language evolves over time.  People can’t just pick and choose the words that they have deemed to be “inappropriate”.  If we are going to start allowing this to happen I would like to announce my new movement to try and get rid of work “dohicky”.  Why you may ask?  What is wrong with that work?  How about it sounds dirty and I think that people that us it are stupid.  If you a really open your mind and allow yourself to think about it that is the same motivation that is being used in both of these campaigns and exactly why people need realize that we have a right to our opinions and say what we like.  Just like the people of these campaigns do no matter how ridiculous it maybe.

It was a year ago now since I went to the dark side.  Seems so long ago when I didn’t have any desire at all to be on any social network at all really let a lone Facebook no matter how much everyone told me how awesome it was.

I didn’t really see the point of it I was already using my blog to post articles, videos, and anything else I wanted to here on my blog.  Some where in that year I finally started to get a it and realize how Facebook wasn’t really all the different then what I was trying to do with my blog.  I was actually making things a lot harder then the needed to be by resisting using Facebook.  The problem then became my blog was being neglected as you can see from the few posts that have been made since this time last year.

I again am trying to commit to not allowing cob webs to build up here.  To do that I hope to find a happy medium where quick shares and thoughts will be made on Facebook and things that I feel I need a more then a few lines to talk about will be posted here.  Now lets just see if I can stick with that plan.

This just seems to be a bit crazy.  I mean it isn’t like the guy was wearing one of those damn cheese head hats.

Besides it could have been worse he could have been trying to sell cars in Reno wearing a UNLV jersey.  Then he probably would have been arrested.

You all know who you are you are the people that every waking minute of the day saying OH MY GOD it must be because it is Friday the 13th.  No matter what happens.  For example one person that has a desk next to mine at work that is always complaining about he computer being slow (and not listening to me with suggest of what to do to get it running).  There is a wide range of reason why the computer is slow in the persons eyes like it being Monday.

If it does it every day of the week it means there is a problem with it.  It has nothing to do with it being Friday the 13th.

Probably the only thing worse then today be Friday the 13th is that the fact that it is February.  Which means there will be a Friday the 13 next month also

Please SHUT THE FUCK UP!  I am not trying to say that this isn’t a huge day in this Country’s history, but on the other hand it isn’t a Holiday all of a sudden and it isn’t a reason to go around acting line an idiot.
