No I am not turning 44 today but I thought this was a fun little story to post.

44th Birthday

Two weeks ago was my 44th birthday and I wasn`t feeling too good that morning.
I went to breakfast knowing my wife would be pleasant and say,
“Happy Birthday!”, and probably have a present for me.
As it turned out, she didn`t even say good morning, let alone any happy birthday.
I thought, well, that`s wives for you, the children will remember…The children came in to breakfast and didn`t say a word.
So when I left for the office, I was feeling pretty low and despondent..
As I walked into my office, my secretary Janet said, “Good morning, Boss, Happy Birthday”. And I felt a little better that someone had remembered.
I worked until noon, then Janet knocked on my door and said, “You know, it`s such a beautiful day outside, and it`s your birthday, let`s go to lunch, just you and me.”
I said, “That`s the greatest thing I`ve heard all day, let`s go!”
We went to lunch we didn`t go where we normally go; instead we went out to a private little place. We had two martinis and enjoyed lunch tremendously.
On the way back to the office, she said, “You know, it`s such a beautiful day, we don`t need to go back to the office, do we?”
I said, “No, I guess not.” She said, “Let`s go to my apartment.”
After arriving at her apartment she said, “Boss, if you don`t mind, I think I`ll go into the bedroom. “Sure!” I excitedly replied.
She went into the bedroom and, in about six minutes, she came out carrying a huge birthday cake —– followed by my wife, children, and dozens of our friends, all singing Happy Birthday.
And I just sat there…on the couch…naked.

Wouldn’t be interesting to walk to in your local Wal-Mart one day and see something like this on the shelf.

Before you say it your right it isn’t December yet.  So no this isn’t a post about the new baby.  Today Aramelle and I went to the Nevada Humane Society.  They right when you walk in they have cats everywhere.  They have been over run with so many people having to move to places that may not take pets and have to give up their animals.  Because they have so many right now they were having a special were cats over 4 months old were only $10. Once we walked in we pretty much knew we were going home with a new cat even it is wasn’t for the cheaper adoption fee.

Meet Trina.

At first I joked that Trina was like a “micro Reggie” since they are so close in color and she is about a third of the size only weighing in at 6 pounds.

My first official Father’s Day is finally here.  I didn’t think that it would really mean anything to me at first but I have to say it has got me thinking a bit that December 17th is really going to be here way too soon is so many ways.

Well it has been a while and for a change I actually have some things to announce.  Aramelle and I have bought first home.  We actually moved in April 17th but as you can imagine things have been a little bit crazy trying to get everything moved and cleaned up at the apartment which is why I haven’t had a chance to post anything for a while.

Another big announcement is that Aramelle and I are expecting our first baby on December 17th.  Before anyone gets any ideas.  Yes, we do have names picked out.  No, we aren’t telling anyone what they are.  No, we aren’t going to find out what we are going to have.  Follow updates at our new Baby Blog.

After another couple of week layoff  that included some down computer time and a week laying in bed with a back issue I decided it was time for another post.

Luckily I was able to get my computer running and be just about pain free as of last Wednesday when Tom Clancy’s HAWX game and so far I am loving it.  After seeing this video today on Gametrailers.com of the new Wolfenstein game.

It is amazing to think that the original was one of the first games that I played.  Kind of crazy what the game now looks like compared to back then.  Which as the time was pretty high tech for computer gaming.

Here are a few pictures from last night as promised.  Had a great time.  Good food at the Prime Rib Grill as always, and We hit a Good night for the Comics at Catch A Rising Star.

So I am a few days late in posting this I just wasn’t all the motivated in getting around to it.  Another year has gone by since I turned 29 on Wednesday.  I usually don’t get into my birthday at all or even care that much for that matter.  This year seems to be a little bit different.  Has got me thinking about stuff that have and haven’t done in my life and scary to thing that a lot of it was of so little meaning.  I guess it is just part of getting OLD.

To night Aramelle and I are going to be heading to dinner and Comedy show much like we did on her birthday to celebrate.  Should have some pictures to post later if we remember to take the camera.

So I thought I should throw something up here real quick before it becomes two weeks and I haven’t posted anything.

Nothing really special going on around here as of late which is really a big reason why there hasn’t been that much posting going on.

One thing that I am excited about is I was finally able to get a copy of Pinnacle Studio 12 that I have been wanting to pick up for a while now.  I can hardly wait now to get some video footage that I so I can get some more videos put together.

Another thing to really look forward to is that it is getting close to being baseball season.  I am really looking forward to getting in some Reno Aces games this summer.  The Park is coming along nicely.

Not much else going on right now other then that.  I am going to try and do a better job of posting in here more often and not just with crap that I found around on the Internet.
