20 Weeks down…20 Weeks to go

Today we have our the “big” Ultrasound at the 20 week mark.  We were really excited going in and were even discussing if we should find out the gender or not.

Well then we found out that our baby is  a little jerk because of course that it picked the time during the Ultrasound to take a nap.  Because of that we didn’t really get any good pictures and were unable to tell the gender.  Of course on the way out the baby woke up and started moving all around, which Aramelle says that comes from my DNA.  smile_teeth

The new little Wheeler…

Before you say it your right it isn’t December yet.  So no this isn’t a post about the new baby.  Today Aramelle and I went to the Nevada Humane Society.  They right when you walk in they have cats everywhere.  They have been over run with so many people having to move to places that may not take pets and have to give up their animals.  Because they have so many right now they were having a special were cats over 4 months old were only $10. Once we walked in we pretty much knew we were going home with a new cat even it is wasn’t for the cheaper adoption fee.

Meet Trina.

At first I joked that Trina was like a “micro Reggie” since they are so close in color and she is about a third of the size only weighing in at 6 pounds.

Why Second Hand is Healthier for Your Baby

Haven’t posted from Digg.com for a while but this story caught my eye with the baby on the way in December.  Not that it will do a whole lot of good since we mostly have to buy everything new since this is our first child but I found it interesting nonetheless.

As you will see it even force me to create a new category.
